This doctor is not available for online consultations on the platform anymore.Hello doctor,
I am a 38-year-old female. Around 1.5 years ago I started having hormonal issues and noticed my hair thinning. When I was younger I had medium-thickness fine hair. Recently I started T-pellets. I do take medications such as, Ambien tablets, Iodoral tablets, vitamin D, and Baclofen. My hormone levels are good now but my hair is still thin and falling out and extremely dry. Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and understand your concern. Since your hormone levels are normal now, I will only prescribe topical preparations to you. I suggest you start using Qilib (Minoxidil) lotion twice daily. Use conditioner after every head wash, this should take care of the dryness. Having a balanced diet with a good amount of protein can help. Take tablet Keraglo Eva (N-acetylcysteine, Niacin) once daily for three months. It is a multivitamin and will take care of any deficiencies that you may have. Follow the above instructions for three to six months. I hope you should be able to see a good response by then. I hope I have cleared all your doubts.
Thank you.
